On September 2nd, the 2025 Swedish Bus Driver Championship was held near Arlanda outside Stockholm.<\/p>\n

This year’s competition attracted a record number of participants – almost 600 drivers registered, and of these, 20 advanced to the final to compete for this year’s title.<\/p>\n

The final consisted of five elements: disaster management, precision and reverse maneuvering, economical driving and service & hospitality.<\/p>\n

For the 13th year in a row, Drivec was a partner, and – as such- responsible for the technology that enabled the validation of each driver’s performance in the economical driving (Ecodriving) element.<\/p>\n

During the event our very own Johan G\u00f6the, Philip Holmqvist, Albin Olausson and Christer Nordlander were responsible for measurement and reporting.<\/p>\n

After a day of impressive performances, Josefin Kihlberg from Nobina took home first place in the Bus Driver Championship.<\/p>\n

We would like to extend a big congratulations to the winner and thank all participants for their impressive efforts \u2013 you are leading the way for safer, smarter and more sustainable public transport.<\/p>\n
