Svensk Cater is a nationwide wholesale company in the food industry. In Malm\u00f6, the company operates a mixed vehicle fleet consisting of both diesel- and electric-powered trucks.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We were looking for a system that could provide a clear overview of our vehicles and help us drive more efficiently and sustainably. Ecodriving proved to be the right choice for us, not least because it is fuel-agnostic. For our electric vehicles, for example, it has enabled them to travel longer distances on a single charge, says Peter Larsson.<\/p>\n

Clear results<\/strong><\/p>\n

Initially, there was some scepticism among drivers about having Ecodriving installed in their vehicles. However, following Drivec\u2019s training and once they saw the rapid improvements delivered by the system, attitudes began to change.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Ecodriving clearly shows how much impact each individual driver can have. It makes it tangible how they contribute to reducing both our fuel consumption and emissions, says Peter Larsson.<\/p>\n

Automatic tachograph data downloads<\/strong><\/p>\n

For some time now, Svensk Cater has complemented the system with Drivec\u2019s service for automatic downloads of tachograph and driver card data. This means that all data is transmitted automatically and securely from the vehicles to any chosen system for storage and analysis \u2013 without the drivers needing to do anything.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The service makes things much easier for us, for example when reporting to the Swedish Transport Agency, says Peter Larsson.<\/p>\n
